Ingredients
- 1/2 CupCoarsely Powdered Cashew Nuts (Kaju)
- 1 1/2 CupsPlain Flour (Maida)
- 5 TbspSoft Butter
- 1/2 CupPowdered Sugar
- 1/4 TspVanilla Essence
- 1/4 CupMilk
Directions
- Step1In a bowl add plain flour and cashew nuts and mix it well and keep it aside for the later use.
- Step2In a bowl add butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla essence and mix it well with a help of a wooden spoon.
- Step3Add plain flour-cashew nut mixture to the butter mixture and mix it well and slowly pour the milk and knead it gently into a semi-stiff dough.
- Step4Place the dough on a flat, dry surface and roll into a 250 mm. X 175 mm. (10 ” x 7″) rectangle.
- Step5Cut the rolled dough into 50 mm. X 50 mm. (2” x 2”) equal square pieces and preheat the oven at 180°c.
- Step6Bake it in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 20 minutes and allow it to cool completely and store it in an air-tight container and enjoy it whenever you want to.
